USA Today (opens in new tab) reported that in an affidavit it obtained, 26-year-old Gaylyn Morris told a witness that she used the tracking capabilities of an AirTag to follow her boyfriend, 26-year-old Andre Smith, to an Indianapolis bar. Having found Smith, the couple engaged in a heated argument, with Morris reportedly swinging an empty wine bottle at a woman Smith was with at the time. This led to the bar owner asking the three to leave, and then according to the court records seen by USA Today, Morris got into her car, which was parked outside, and clipped Smith with it....

That’s going by a filing spotted in the Bluetooth SIG products database by MacRumors (opens in new tab). This filing could point to significant upgrades for future Apple products and — as the specification includes support for LE Audio with several improvements to the way Bluetooth handles wireless audio streaming — could be especially beneficial for any future AirPods models. With the Apple September event now confirmed to take place on September 7, we’re hoping to see the launch of next-generation AirPods Pro wireless earbuds, alongside the reveal of the iPhone 14 and Apple Watch 8....

Back in July 2021, DuckDuckGo announced (opens in new tab) that it was launching Email Protection, an email forwarding service aimed at removing email trackers. This service initially required users to sign up for a private beta, but as of today, DuckDuckGo has opened the beta to all users (opens in new tab).
